You can view Issues broadcast from your organization's Twitter account. The instructions below describe how to view Issues from your Twitter account.
Notes:
Replies to Twitter "tweets" are not captured in BMC FootPrints Service Core.
You will only be able to view Issue details once you access BMC FootPrints Service Core from Twitter if they are Global Issues or if you have rights to view the Issue.
Prerequisite
You will need a Twitter account, which you can obtain for free at www.twitter.com.
Log on to your Twitter account.
Enter your organization's Twitter name in the Search box, then press the Enter key.
In the search results, click the Follow button next to your organization's name. Your organization's "tweets" will now appear, which you can access later from the Home button on the Twitter toolbar.
The BMC FootPrints Service CoreIssue number, Issue title, and a link to the Issue in BMC FootPrints Service Core appears in the "tweet".
To view the Issue details, click the BMC FootPrints Service Core link in the "tweet". A new browser page opens.
Log in to BMC FootPrints Service Core with your User ID and Password. The Issue details are displayed.
